For Immediate Release

On May 24, 2022, at Robb Elementary school, multiple lives were taken unjustifiably and senselessly in the hands of yet another mass school shooting. As the Houston chapter of March For Our Lives, our organization and the entirety of the Texas community are shocked to hear about this horrible occurrence in Uvalde. We both honor and stand with the victims of this shooting, and we express our condolences to families who are hurting during this difficult moment.

As we mourn this tragedy, let us reflect on one irrefutable statement:
no child should ever have to be a victim of gun violence.

When more information is available, March For Our Lives Houston will issue a subsequent statement. Information can be found on our website and social media accounts across multiple platforms.
